The CDs for Anduin’s Stolen Years are now all put together and ready to go. Here you can see the full package. We had fun seeing each of our drawings transform into all these great prints. We developed two more really fun photo reference images for these. They gave us a chance to mess around with some loose HDR and composite stuff.
Also, after we got everything back from the cutter’s we had to sort, stack, and stuff.

Taking photo reference for this project was extra fun. We staged some shots, found some locations (thanks Rawn), composited some and did some HDR-ish stuff to bring out interesting light to draw from. Here are the two we used for the illustrations for this song.

We’ve been working very hard the last few months to produce all the artwork and packaging for Anduin’s upcoming album Stolen Years. After much discussion, planning and reference photo taking, Matt and Spencer inked 2 illustrations for each song of the eight song album. Jonathan and Seth then hand screen printed all 16 illustrations on double sided inserts and the packaging. Its been a lot of work, but now that its all coming together we’re really excited.
For the next few days up, we’ll share one of the song’s illustration pairs as well as some behind the scenes peeks into the drawing and printing of the whole set. Follow it here.
